What Uluwatu has in luxury, Canggu has in laid-back, low-key vibes: think boutique hotels, low-rise villas and eco resorts. A yoga hotspot, youâll find multiple retreats in this part of Bali. Ecosfera is a great stay for traditional Balinese hospitality, as well as daily yoga classes. Canggu has a strong backpacker scene, meaning youâll
48 Hours in canggu and seminyak. Eating, drinking, shopping and surfing: Canggu and Seminyak are undoubtedly Baliâs busiest hubs, loved equally by tourists and expats thanks to their buzzing atmospheres and faster pace of life. Which means no trip to Bali is complete without checking out Canggu and Seminyak. Even if youâre only passing
Seminyak and Kuta are both coastal towns in Bali. Kuta is near Baliâs Ngurah Rai Airport and is the main place in Bali to go partying. And is a popular beach resort in Bali. Uluwatu â best place in Bali for beaches and upscale clifftop

That might be because the surf culture is deeply ingrained in Canggu, which seems to attract a somewhat younger and âchilledâ type of people. And thus both attract their own specific crowds.
Otherwise Iâd say Canggu only because in my mind I think ânorth of airportâ vs âsouth of airportâ. Uluwatu can also be really busy in the evenings due to the traffic coming and going from the
Agree with VR above, Seminyak would be the better option. There are plenty of places to stay that are within walking distance of shopping and great restaurants but still quiet. We stayed at Mutiara Bali Boutique Resort and Villa and thoroughly enjoyed it.
