When I orginally enquired they didn't stock any exhausts for the 500. The ebay link that you gave probably has a Pop tailpipe - IIRC your's is the Sport. So even if it did fit the tail pipe would be different. The only backbox that looks different on the 500 is the one on the TA. The rest all look the same.

The switch goes to ground when the engine is stopped (as normal) and goes open the second the engine is running ( grey/blue wire goes high - as the switch is open) Traced it right back to the ecu plug which is 0v with engine stopped and 12v when engine is running - normal operation. However the ecu still flags up low oil on the dash.
